Mohammad Obaid is a United Arab Emirates national who graduated with LLB from Beirut University and holds a Higher Diploma in Science, Justice & Law (Higher Institute) Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Mr Obaid worked in the Public Prosecution as prosecutor, where he represented the Government of Dubai and coordinated with the police and Department of Justice. He was appointed as Judge in Dubai Courts, where he presided over a large number of civil, commercial, labor and criminal matters and was a signatory to a number of reported judgments.

After that he has been appointed as Head of the Legal Department in the Development Board, Dubai.

Mr Obaid has obtained a decree from the Ruler of Dubai to represent the UAE Government in all cases brought by it or against it before all stages of litigation. Heading the Legal Department, he was in charge of all legal matters affecting the Development Board, including advising it on all legal issues, giving instructions, drafting and approving contracts and other legal documents. He resigned from this post in 2005 to establish Accord International.

He is licensed to practice as an advocate in the United Arab Emirates National Courts and Arbitration Chambers. In addition to his wide experience as Prosecutor, Judge and Head of Legal Department of Development Board, he also participates with the Dubai Government in international cases.
 

Mr Obaid has a strong knowledge of Civil, Common Law, Sharia Law systems. His extensive experience includes advising local, regional and international clients in a range of  banking, Islamic finance, securities, construction, real estate and corporate law.

He is the moving force for the formation of the firm and is the Chairman of Accord International, Advocates & Legal Consultants.

Mr Emad graduated from the Faculty of Law at Ain Shams University in 1975, thus he has more than 35 years expertise in the judicial field and is the former Chief Justice of the Cairo Appeal Court. As part of his responsibilities during his career as a judicial officer, Emad was appointed as the head of Arbitration Committee of Civil and Commercial Disputes in the judiciary authority in Egypt. His expertise is in both civil and criminal matters.

During his career Emad was an assistant in the public prosecution and rose to become the Head of Public Prosecution in charge of public funds. He was also appointed as a member of the National Council of Motherhood and Childhood in Egypt and a member in the committee for amending the Succession and Family Law in Egypt.

Emad has been dedicated to the advancement of jurisprudence and the development of the legal profession internationally and in this regard, he was a lecturer in The Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University and The Police Academy of Egypt. In addition, he published various books including; Explanation of Kuwaiti Money Laundering Law, Explanation of Kuwaiti Financial Market Law, Explanation of Omissive Liability in Egyptian Law, Crimes of Manslaughter and Injury and Legal Pleas in Drug Cases. He has experience in the Kuwait where he has practice for a major law firm prior to joining Accord International. While in Kuwait he lectured at the Kuwaiti Association of Advocates.

Emad is a firm believer in the rule of law and as a seasoned judicial officer, he has developed strategies and prepared court submissions that have made Accord International have one of the most innovative litigation departments in the UAE.
 

The third former judge and a 5 time award-winner in the legal field in Accord is from Sudan. Khalid graduated with LLB, first class  from the University of Khartoum, faculty of law. The first one ever to be awarded such honors and LLM straight after. The university admitted him as a lecturer prior to his appointment as Judge in the judiciary authority in Khartoum.

Khalid has a strong knowledge of common and Sharia law, an experience which he gained from his practice in Sudan.

Prior to joining Accord in 2022, Khalid was working with a reputable law firm in Dubai. He has acquired considerable experience in the civil, commercial, and corporate laws of the UAE. Khalid also has extensive experience in drafting contracts and commercial agreements. He is handling extremely complex litigation issues and has been responsible for representing multiple developers in property dispute cases, inheritance and estate/Sharia law, criminal and civil cases brought to first instance, appeal and cassation.

He also knows his way around the international financial and commercial laws very well.

Khalid has over 19 years of professional legal experience of which almost half within the UAE.

He holds bachelors in law from Alneelain University in Sudan. He has worked under various capacities in field such as Legal Counsel to Ministry of Justice, Public Prosecution of Khartoum Bahri, and as Legal Adviser for Sudanese Maritime Ports and Public Prosecution at the Red Sea.

In addition he also has completed several trainings and programs.

Khalid has an international mindset and enjoys to unruffle difficult matters both in corporate and litigation, especially in criminal matters.

Khalid is our expert in extradition/deportation, defending the accused of money laundry, drug cases, breach of trust and other heavy crimes within civil and corporate.

Eladiq has been in UAE for over 25 years and holds a LLB from Neelain University and Masters in Intellectual Property Law from Al Zaeim Alazhari University and in addition attended multiple Trademark and IP law summits and courses from WIPO, Geneva.

He has extensive practical experience and pleaded in the UAE RDC Courts (when this was still allowed for non-locals).

He is very knowledgeable in Real Estate, Arbitration, Negotiations/Mediation, Electronic Transactions, Industrial Property, TAX law, Labor, Sharia, Civil and Criminal law.

Prior to joining Accord in 2022, Elsadiq was employed by a Federal Governmental body, advising all departments and sections on legal issues for the Northern Emirates, managing a large team of UAE Nationals on a daily basis.

 

Ali Reza is a multilingual corporate and commercial senior associate and special counsel with a focus on the Iranian legal market.

In addition to his current position as International Relations Manager to Sadi Law Office Iran and Legal consultant at Accord international advocates and legal consultants (UAE), he remains a trusted advisor and in-house counsel to several distinguished companies in the UAE. He’s providing advisory service regarding; Iranian legal market, Business Development, Corporate legal work, coordinating client care, cultural awareness between IRAN and UAE, Cross-border legal work, family business and corporate governance, necessary corporate structures for having a commercial presence in Iran, and Commercial dispute resolution.

He’s responsible for and works with regional and multinational companies with an interest in Iran’s emerging market.

Sharaf Aldeen is from Sudan and joined Accord in 2022 as specialist in execution files.

Since childhood he loved the law, and as a young adult started his aspiration to be a distinguished lawyer. He is a highly self-motivated and driven lawyer with an excellent academic record.

His passion since he arrived at the university is working on criminal cases and researching criminal evidence as well as commercial and real estate issues.

​

His practical experience lies in ensuring the legality of commercial transactions, drafting and reviewing policies, legal advice, civil law and UAE regulations.

He found his place as lawyer and wishes to continue to grow and develop extraordinary skills.

He's very thorough in his work and will leave no stone unturned to get the clients' rights as per the court orders.

Fathea graduated LLB from Zakazyk University in 2003 and became Appellant Lawyer in Egypt.

Working with Accord since 2005 she’s the legal backbone of the company since the past 17 years. Fathea is responsible for all types of case preparation and registration before all courts of the UAE.

 

Sara is from Eritrea and was raised in Saudi Arabia.

She joined Accord in 2021 and enjoys learning different languages. She has a special interest in human rights law and criminology, and is a first year law student.

Sara is fluent in Tigrynja, Arabic, English and Urdu and is currently studying Turkish and Spanish.
